Capcom Classics Mini Mix (Bionic Commando)

At $20 you'll pay too much if you elect to buy this. The three games are ported pretty much intact, and that's the problem--NES Strider already suffered from crippling programming bugs, hit detection, lame control and slowdown. For some reason, the processing power of the GBA magnifies rather than corrects this--the game is constantly slowing down to a crawl.

Mighty Final Fight is good enough for what it is, but the SD characters come off as too small and dumpy on a tiny portable screen and the play mechanics feel really cheap most of the time, which compromises its fun factor somewhat.

Bionic Commmando comes off the best, but is hobbled slightly by the tiny screen dimensions--to play the game well, you need to be able to see your bionic arm clearer than you're able to and it really makes for frustrating play.

On top of all that, the sheer laziness of the conversions--especially compared to the PSP compilaion leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They could have done so much more with this, unfortunately the will wasn't there and was tossed onto the dying GBA with hardly an afterthought. And very much feels it too.

Avoid it like the plague and hope they do a better compilation on the DS someday.Buy Capcom Classics Mini Mix (Bionic Commando)!

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

I'm a Shin Megami Tensei fan, I've played Devil Summoner, Persona 3, and Persona 3 FES and I can say that these games have their faults but they are very good quality RPG's! I only played a little of Nocturne but I still enjoyed it very much I'm currently playing Persona 4 and enjoying it very much!! If you like playing RPG's give Nocturne a chance or try Persona 4 which is the latest SMT game!Buy Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne!

Army Men: World War Final Front

This is a pretty good game with pretty good graphics, the reason that I gave it 4 stars is because it is just another army men game, I mean there's more than ten Army Men games out there, 3DO comeon make something else than army men games.Buy Army Men: World War Final Front!

Final Fantasy XI: The Vana’diel Collection

If you're a Final Fantasy fan, then this game is just what you'd expect. It immerses you in a beautiful fantasy world, richly detailed and innovatively imagined. One thing I really like about this MMORPG that makes it unique is that it actually has a story. The RPG genre just doesn't feel quite right without a story, but Final Fantasy knows exactly how to put meaning and context into all that fighting and leveling.

The battle system could be described as typical Final Fantasy mixed together with the usual MMORPG battle system that you find in Everquest, Anarchy Online, and World of Warcraft. The class system is perfect. You level up as a class rather than a character, and you can switch classes if you like. For instance, if you're a level 12 black mage, you can switch over to white mage where you will start out as a level 1. You can go back to being a level 12 black mage later if you like.

I do have some complaints, though. The game has many clipping errors, which is disappointing considering the high quality I've come to expect form Final Fantasy games. There are many, many, many items and equipment to collect in the game, but you can only store or carry very few.

The absolute worse thing about this game is the walking. Most MMORPG's have vehicles, horses, teleportation, or some other way to get from one place to another. Only very high level white mages can teleport in this game, and the rest of us have to walk everywhere. This means that it's not uncommon to spend half an hour walking just to meet a friend, buy something you need, go to the next place to level, and so forth. This problem alone was so irritating that it was the reason I gave up this otherwise very fun game.Buy Final Fantasy XI: The Vana’diel Collection!

Mighty Final Fight

I don't know if I could call this game "Mighty" but it sure is a nice game for NES Double Dragon fans who are sick of having to press two buttons simultaniously to jump. More than just a Metro City brawler for the original Nintendo Entertainment System, MFF is basically Final Fight with cartoony characters, altered levels, and an ever-so-slightly different storyline.

What make this game better than it's Super Nintendo cousin are the inclusion of all three characters (Cody, Hagger, and Guy), female thugs (the "good girl" theory is NOT politically correct), an Experience Points system (get better as you progress), and the final boss being half-robot.

What don't make this game better than the SNES version are the frustrating difficulty, having to fight some bosses twice, still not having a two-player mode, and not having a good "bad girl" to play as.

Note: I am perfectly aware of the real original Japanese Famicom Disk System. When I said original NES, I meant the first one to be released in the US. Also, MFF is compatable with the second NES model released in the US. Also, I know how to spell GRAPHICSBuy Mighty Final Fight!
